Works great with the Taurus 738 .380 and the Ruger LCP .380.
It is also fine with the S&W single stack 9mm (model 3913) The only complaint I have is that there is not one single instruction on how to adjust this device for the different magazines. I had no problem figuring out how to do it but someone not into firearms might have a problem.

Works ok when the mags will fit in the loader BUT some single stack 9mm mags ]even though the manufacturer''''s name is listed as fitting[ do not fit in the loader''''s mag well and cannot be reloaded with this device.

Rating .. 0 star ..absolutely useless for the Bersa
Thunder 380 Deluxe magazine.... they finger grip at the bottom of the DLX magazine interfers with correct, proper seating of the mag in this model loader. The whole mag is tilted @ a useless angle and cannot be " locked" into the loader. It MAY work with the other Bersa mags ok .but not the DLX mags due to the large finger extension on the bottom of that models mags.

The HKS model 943 is a terrible speed loder, made of very flimsy plastic,and useless for my Walter PPK.380 or my 9 mm Colt. No wonder it is so cheap. The thumb operated lever seems that it will break as soon as you apply some pressure.I suppose you get what you pay. Don''t buy it.

this works really well for single stack 380 and 9mm. i have both size loads and was skeptical about it, but it is really slick. one thing to note is that you have to spin a little plastic piece over if switching from 380 to 9mm and vice versa. also, depending on the length of the clip you are loading, you have to move a pin thing up or down for the bottom of the clip to sit down on. if you are loading both sizes a real lot and don''t want to have to make these changes, you may be better to buy two of these (or one of each specific to your size load), but if you don''t mind taking the 30 seconds to reconfigure it, this is great. my opinion is that it works WAY better than some of the other simple-type loaders. The Mag Loader saves lots of wear and tear on the fingers from those sharp edges of the magazine. The last round is much easier to load with a fully depressed magazine spring as well.
It''s not a really tight fit for the mag on my Bersa Thunder 7 round mag but good enough to be worth the price.

I bought this as a ''replacement'' for a different product (from a different manufacturer) that didn''t quite work as advertised. The HKS 3991, on the other hand, is an outstanding product, perfectly suited for the purpose of loading .380 ACP and 9x18mm single stack magazines. Once you set the rotating spacer on top for .380 or 9mm mags. and the ''stop'' on the lower shaft to accommodate the magazine length, you''re ready to load. The thumb operated lever causes the thick polymer ''beak'' to press down on the top-most round, and you just slide the next round into place with your other hand. Smooth as silk!
The only way to improve on this finely executed design would have been to make the thumb operated lever ''reversible'' to both sides of the device for true ''ambidexterous'' operation. As it comes, it actually favors ''lefties'' a little but is easily operated by right-handed users. I''d buy this product again, and highly recommend it to others looking to save a little skin on the thumbs!

This really saves your thumb when loading these smaller .380 cartridges. The base stop for the bottom of the magazine could have been designed with a larger lip to keep the magazine from occasionally jumping off. Overall, it operates as advertised.

The HKS model 943 magazine loader has to one of the best products I have ever purchased. It''s verstility in switching from 380 to 9 mm and adjustments for clip length make it an outstanding loader. As my Bersa 380 clip has a very strong retention spring, my wife could not load it past three shells. with the magazine loader she has no trouble loading the full clip and finds it very easy to operate. I would highly recomend this loader to anyone for ease of clip loading.

It does the trick, but it''s not as fast as you say. And, you have to hold the magazine tight against the loader or it slips. But, it does make loading the 380 and 9 mil magazines a lot easier and faster. I''d still buy it again.

WELL, you can add the Ruger LCP to the list. Works fine with mine, with both magazines ]regular and finger extender[. Set the magazine stop in the third hole from the top and it will work fine. If you set it any higher, the arm that pushes the spring down will not come up high enought to push the shell all the way back in the magazine.
